| Hello all my longgggggggggggggg lost Xanganites. I realize that it has been FOREVER since I last posted, however, things have been soooooooo busy. Alas, I have returned this day to update you on the goings on in my life, as well as post a few pictures here and there.
So the last time I updated was October 1st. Wow... ok let me recap:
October: Blew out my knee the second week and was on Crutches for a while. Fortunately God healed me and the injury didn't require surgery to fix. I didn't miss anytime on the hospital floor either which definately worked to my advantage. Went to Youth Retreat with the Church, that was a fun weekend, even if I was on Crutches. My Mom, Grandma, Sister, and Friend all came up one weekend and I took them to Chicago. Which reminds me... I need to hit up Chicago pretty quick!
November was school and heading down to OK for Thanksgiving.
In December I participated in the Church's "Dinner Theare" which was a blast. I was a green guard from the Wizard of Oz (the play was "A Christmas in Oz"). That ran for two weekends. In the meantine I had finished up my first semester of Nursing School with 5 A's and 1 B. Spent two weeks at home for Christmas and got back up here for New Years' Eve.
This semester is going really well. It's not as tough which has allowed me to get a little more sociable and I've got a good group of friends that I hang out with quite a bit. As far as Church goes, I've been asked to play for the Youth Choir when we go on tour in June to New York and Boston... that's quite the honor to me. :) I've been playing in Church up here and taking lessons from the music minister, so I'm learning quite a bit at that!
Spring Break is one week away... which means me turning 21 is only about 11 days away. Where has the time gone! One year from May I will be a College graduate. WOW. And some things are already in the works about a job. Man, God surely paves the way!
Ok, that's it for now. Keep it real, my Xanganites.... I'll post pictures BEFORE my Birthday (March 15). So check back.
I'm doing that just so I can get extra comments.

| So I realize that it has been three weeks since I last updated. My apologies. School is in full force, and with that comes mucho homework and all that stuff, along with keeping up with Church events, taking care of other things, and of course: Having a life. So I'm quite busy but nonetheless, I am back here today.
Everything seems to be settling a little bit as far as school goes. I'm at the hospital doing clinicals, as well has going to school what seems like all the time. Fortunetly October will be a good month after next week, because it is mid-term so I have alot of papers and tests to prepare for. The Church is having Youth Retreat next weekend, so I'm hoping to get it all school stuff done so I can go out of town for the retreat next weekend. Whoo fun times.
This weekend I had class Fri night and Saturday morning, so I was exhausted last night. I took some Tylenol PM to help me to sleep better, and that drug has an effect on me. Before it puts me to sleep, I get extremely hyper. So, I hit that hyper spell, and since Brittany was staying the night with Carly, I thought I would decorate her room for her:

AND THEN! I wake up this morning to discover that SOMEONE had decided to go out last night and terrorize houses. This was ours:

I have put the word out that Southern Retaliation will be in the uprising soon. TP'ing is a common occurence in October here in Illinois. I must say the culprits did a decent job, however, my retaliation will blow them out of the water.
'Till next time! | | |

| Hello All.
Well, I thought it was time for another update. Not much has happened. I flew home last weekend to surprise my Mom for her 50th Birthday. The surprise went off spot-less, and it was a Kodak moment for sure. It was nice being home, as I hadn't been home since I moved. The Grandmothers were especially glad to see me (as I'm sure it's a Grandma thing). I also got to see HERSHEY, and all my other little critters. It was a really quick trip (Friday morning-Sunday night), but it was good. Etienne came down Saturday and I showed him the cemetary in our pasture. While I was down there I guess I got into some bugs that managed to get through my socks and devoured my ankles, and a few of them got up my leg. I had alot of trouble sleeping for two nights, but they have finally healed themselves up pretty well. Praise Jesus!
Also got to go to my home Church on Sunday morning. Played the organ. Ah, what fun. Me and Britt played together and it was just like always. I hadn't played since I left so I really had a lot of fun. My poor leg on the other hand, tightened up on me as soon as I quit. Ouchy. But! I get to play again this weekend as well.
Yes, that's right. I'm heading home again this weekend to spend Labor Day with the family. 4 full days at home (Friday morning - Monday night). Family is coming in from OKC and Texas, so it will be a fun-filled family weekend. I'm ready for it. I miss them... but I also really enjoy it up here. Mom is planning a visit, and so are a few others. That will happen in September and October. Can't wait... cause we'll be hitting Chicago! WHOOOO!
As far as a job... an opportunity has been opened unto me for a job. God told me to wait until mid-September to even look, and today I found out that a job I had really wanted will be open in 2 weeks... as in: Mid-September. Funny thing is, I'm wondering now if this is the job, or if God has something else in store... Either way, I guess I'll know by mid-September.
Me and Mom on her 50th:

My new favorite song is below. Until next time! -C
Faithful; Faithful; Faithful is our God (4x) I'm reaping the harvest God promised me; Taking back what the devil stole from me. And I rejoice today... for I shall recover it all. And I rejoice today: For I shall recover it all. (Repeated with "Holy, Holy, Holy is our God" and "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus is our God").
